The Best Football Gazebos
Our tried and tested selection of gazebos

The season is over and you think you get a few months away from football. However you then receive a WhatsApp from the team coach saying that your team has been entered into a football tournament every weekend until July!
Do not fret we have complied a comprehensive review of the best football gazebos that we have tried and tested over the years.
Being Britain we can just have a gazebo to provide shade for our players, oh no, we need to prepare ourselves for 40 degree sun, 10 degrees wind, storms, rain and tornadoes!
We had a tournament at Paddock Wood a couple of years back where the day started off sunny and by the end of it we had 2 teams of 10 kids and their parents huddled in our gazebo made for 10, while holding the sides down and placing our feet on the pegs! We eventually won so I guess the shelter saved our players from getting too wet and miserable!
The Best 3 "Name" we tried
Best Overall
Having tried several we settled on this 3x3m design for our football tournaments. With a bit of practice it can be set up on your own or with the minimal help from reluctant children. The sides are optional so on a hot day you can put one on the side where the sun is, or on a poor day put all of them up.
- Pros – Sturdy, simple to erect (no connecting polies etc.
- Cons – In extreme wind it would need to have all the guide ropes installed correctly. It is also heavy
Best for bad weather
This is the gazebo that saved so many at the tournament I mentioned above! The four side panels and multiple anchor points saved our bacon that day. Setting up is more of a faff as you need to connect all the poles and slip them through etc. How ever after a bit of practice it is a job you could perform on your own (if left alone!)
- Pros – Very strong again high winds, can be used as a tent when on holiday. Light.
- Cons – Head room, general space and set up is more fiddly.
Best for price
If price is an issue then you can go for this one. Similar to the best rated however the build quality is not the same and you do not get side panels with it. Do not go cheaper as I have seen many gazebos leave the tournament before the owners with the slightest gust of wind!
- Pros – Cheap, Easy to install and light.
- Cons – No side panels and more likely to take off!
