One crucial bit of kit you will need as a coach is a selection of bibs. Now before you go rushing in you need to think about your selection. When I started I was handed a bag of bibs and off I went, but I soon realised that I had the wrong colours and numbers for any sensible session. For instance if you play in Red shirts then do not buy a pack of bibs that have red in it. Also for a decent 7v7 session 5 bibs of each isn’t the ideal.

Another thing I picked up on my UEFA C course was how good and useful reversible bibs are. More expensive than the singles but just so much better. For example you can be running a matched up 5v5 session and you tap a player on the shoulder and ask them to switch their bib for a surprise overload! And switching teams takes seconds.
Best cheap option
When buying the cheap options do not go for too cheap other wise they will shred or the ones with the elastic connector at the side as they get caught up. These are dependable bibs that come in many colours and are a good price point.
