The Best Subs Benches
Our tried and tested selection of subs Benches

I found fairly early on that having a portable subs bench was invaluable to keeping, at least a few of, then team in one place during breaks. During tournaments it is often very hot and the kids should be resting in between games, but more often than not they are off smashing balls into bushes or practicing penalties just as you want to deliver your killer tactic!
There are plenty of cheaper options online but I would stick to these two brands as the quality is always better, no just the bench itself but also the carry case. As when the carry case is gone then you are carrying it everywhere.
The Best Sub Benches
Best Overall
I decided to go with the quickplay 6 seater. At the time of purchase we were a 7 aside team so 6 suited us perfectly. Now we are a squad of 12 there is a bit of a fight but it provides a focal point for everyone. There are 4 seat and 9 seat variations.
- Pros – Very sturdy (my bag has survived 5 years), Easy to set up.
- Cons – Very heavy.
Best Alternative
Forza do their own version of the subs bench and this is available in 4, 6 and 8 seats and comes with a carry bag. The only difference I can see from the Quickplay is the pocket at the end to find Haribo packets months later!
Best for bad weather
Both these brands come with a shelter version. I have tried these and have found them a faff setting them up and then the fact they tip over with the slightest gust of wind. So I have never used the shelter version again. However can be useful for sunny weather or tournaments.
